Everything I have heard so far has been complaining about the lack of a change in the buyout when we really don't know the true reasoning behind it. This makes sense to me. The NCAA does not need to be used and abused as a free minor league system for the NBA and NFL. Kids who have no intention of getting an education do not belong in college (for free!!!) at all. Hopefuly this will make recruiting STUDENT athletes at least a small part of division 1 sports. This is an excellent program. It's a full-on negotiation, one where each side demands some give and take. I don't think the administration wanted that to be the spirit of this move.
